DESCRIPTION:Join us for an eclectic evening of music as seven chamber ensembles from the ACO present an evening of chamber music written by Brahms\, Beethoven\, and some lesser known but very deserving composers\, including Daniel Adams and Uribe Duarte. Trios\, quartets\, quintets and larger ensembles will be featured on stage for an exciting evening of live chamber music. \nProgram: \nKERKORIAN: Fanfare and Fugue\nHUMPERDINCK (arr. Fanchin): Evening Prayer from Hansel & Gretel\n5 Sirens and a Sackbut \nDURATE: Three Costa Rican Dances: Flor de Receda\, Dudas\, Planguita\nBassoon Quartet \nADAMS: Talea\nPercussion Ensemble \nGABRIELI: (King\, editor): Canzona per Sonare No. 1 “La Spiritata”\nKOMPANEK: Killer Tango\nBrass Quintet \nBEETHOVEN: Grand Trio in E-flat Major\, Op. 3\, Allegro con brio\nString Trio \nGERSHWIN: Three Preludes\nClarinet Quartet \nBRAHMS:  Piano Quartet No.1 in G minor\, Op.25\, Rondo alla Zingarese: Presto\nPiano Quartet \nThe ACO continues to embrace the classics as well as explore the future. In order for classical music to truly realize its potential as a relevant and important art form it must embrace its future as much as its past.
