ACO Cancels February 5 Performance of Hidden Gems

At the ACO, the health and safety of our patrons and musicians is our top priority. Due to the local increase in COVID-19 cases and Austin Public Health’s decision to raise the area’s Risk-Based Guidance to Stage 5, we are canceling our February 5 performance of Hidden Gems with guest artist Julia Taylor.

“Sadly, we have had to cancel our February performance due to COVID safety issues and concerns,” says ACO Music Director Lois Ferrari. “We hope to resume in April, so please stay tuned for further announcements.”

We are excited to resume the 21/22 season as soon as we can safely do so, and we are putting together new health and safety guidelines in anticipation of our April 2 performance of Texas Rising Stars, featuring the winners of the UT Butler School of Music String Concerto Competition. More information will be available at austincivicorchestra.org soon.

Thank you for your continued support of the Austin Civic Orchestra. We look forward to seeing you for the remainder of the 21/22 season!

The Austin Civic Orchestra’s 2021-22 season, Reunited, features beloved classics alongside new and eclectic works.
