We are delighted to welcome Jarred Kennedy to the podium for a program that explores transformation\, emotional depth\, and the vibrant musical spirit at the heart of the ACO. \nLife of Wonders and Fates opens with Katahj Copley’s Equinox\, a vivid and rhythmically charged work that captures the energy of change and renewal. Trumpeter Kyle Koronka then takes center stage in Alexander Arutiunian’s Trumpet Concerto\, a brilliant showcase of bold fanfares\, lyrical warmth\, and virtuosic flair. The evening culminates in Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5\, a sweeping and emotional journey shaped by its iconic “fate” motif.
