The Texas Rising Stars concert is a wonderful celebration of young musical talent, featuring the players selected by the Butler School of Music’s string department. Since its beginning in 2013, this collaboration between the Austin Civic Orchestra and the University of Texas at Austin’s string department has grown into an event that promises an evening of exceptional artistry and inspiration.
This concert reflects our shared commitment to making classical music accessible and to supporting rising talent. It is presented free of charge as a gift to the Austin community.
