COVID-19 Information
For the safety and health of our patrons and musicians, the ACO will enact these COVID-19 guidelines for all performances until further notice:
- Face masks are encouraged.
- We ask all patrons to please appropriately distance members of your party from all other guests based on CDC recommendations.
- Please ensure you are not experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms listed by the CDC before attending an ACO performance.
- Based on CDC guidelines, all patrons are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attending an ACO performance.
The ACO is making every effort to ensure that concerts can continue safely, and musicians will also be following the above protocols where possible. We recommend all patrons purchase their tickets in advance due to limited capacities, and if you are unable to attend a performance after purchasing tickets, you are welcome to donate your ticket to the ACO or exchange it for a ticket to a future performance. In order to maintain an accurate audience count, we strongly encourage you to contact our box office if you are unable to attend after purchasing a ticket.
All health guidelines will be reevaluated on a concert-by-concert basis with reference to current COVID-19 transmission rates in the Austin community, local and state government guidelines, and CDC recommendations. Please check our website and all ACO correspondence for updates before attending a performance.
Please note that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 at any public gathering, and while we are working to provide a safe and comfortable experience, patrons assume the risk of exposure and agree not to hold the Austin Civic Orchestra or any of its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.
