The Beat Goes On: September Concert

Join the Austin Civic Orchestra in its first installment of “The Beat Goes On,” a series of virtual events featuring ACO musicians organized into chamber ensembles – strings, wind and brass quintets, duets, and solos.  The program includes music by J.S. Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, John Williams, and more! The concert will be streaming on our YouTube and Facebook pages. More details TBA.

The program includes:

• Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, Adagio ma non tanto by Johann Sebastian Bach, adapted by Joel Lish
• Six Studies in English Folksong by Ralph Vaughan Williams
• Songs by The Beatles, arranged by Mathew Naughtin
• Violin Sonata No. 5 in F major, “Spring” by Ludwig van Beethoven
• Harry Potter Suite by John Williams
• Plus more TBA
