We are accepting registrations to audition for:

Admission to the orchestra with seating placement or the substitute list depend on the results of the audition and will be announced by the Executive Director.
The audition consists of three excerpts as listed in 2026 ACO Audition Repertoire List and 2-3 minutes of the solo of your choice.
Please note: The Austin Civic Orchestra is civic organization and as such all members are volunteers – plus all members pay annual dues (or volunteer 4 hours in lieu of paying dues). The ACO rehearses on most Tuesday evenings at the Austin High School Band Hall on Cesar Chavez for two hours. We are planning to have 7 concerts in the 2026-27 season, with an additional two dedicated educational concerts and perform at the Great Waltz at UT – Austin.
