Join the Austin Civic Orchestra for the premier concert in its 2021-22 season, Reunited. Throughout the season, you will hear beloved classics alongside new and eclectic works.

During this concert at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center’s auditorium, the orchestra will perform an assortment of large chamber repertoire, which highlights all the separate sections of the orchestra. The concert includes music by Piazzolla, Newbold, Strauss, Reich, and Di Lorenzo.

  • Piazzolla: Libertango 
  • Newbold: Perseus with guest conductor Richard Frazier 
  • Balmages: Lyric Metal
  • Vivaldi: Concerto in A Minor for Bassoon featuring Aurel Garza-Tucker
  • Strauss: Serenade Op. 7
  • Reich: Music For Pieces Of Wood 
  • Di Lorenzo: A Little Russian Circus

Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for seniors (62 years and older), teachers, college students, and members of the military/veterans; and free for youth. Your ticket also grants you admission to the Wildflower Center so you can Come for the Music, Stay for the Flowers.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seating capacity is at 50% in the auditorium and you will need to wear a face mask.
