The Beat Goes On: June Concert

Join the Austin Civic Orchestra in its June installment of “The Beat Goes On,” a series of virtual events featuring ACO musicians organized into chamber ensembles – strings, wind and brass ensembles.  The concert will be streaming on our YouTube and Facebook pages.

4. Rialto Ripples Rag for Wind Quintet by George Gershwin & Will Donaldson, trans. David Bussick (ACO Woodwind Quintet)
5. L’Oiseau des bois, Op.21 (The Bird in the Woods) by Franz Doppler (Horn quartet, plus Flute)
6. “The Beatles” for 4 Bassoons, John Lennon & Paul McCartney, arr. John Glenesk Mortimer (Bassooner the Better)
